Grateful, and Hopeful for Plymouth’s Future

Tuesday's result isn't the one we worked for, and I'm disappointed. But more than anything, I'm grateful.
To everyone who voted, knocked on doors, hosted a conversation in a driveway or backyard, put up a yard sign, made a donation, or simply believed in this campaign: you made this a race I'm proud of. And to my family, thank you for carrying this with me every step of the way.
I wish Mayor Wosje well in leading our city. I'm also thankful to everyone who put their name on the ballot this year. A healthy democracy depends on people willing to step up.
I'm hopeful about Plymouth. Over these months I listened to neighbors in every part of the city, and I heard a community that cares about each other and wants our city to keep getting better. That gives me real optimism for Plymouth, and for our country too, because when neighbors listen to one another and show up, good things happen.
I'll keep serving on the council through the end of my term, and I'll keep showing up for this community long after that. Thank you for the honor of asking for your vote.
Let's keep moving forward, together.
